Avoid Auto Accidents this Fall
Hey everyone! Fall is a fantastic time of year in Delaware County and along the Main Line. The trees are preparing to show us their brilliance and soon the winter holidays will be here. Before the snow falls however, autumn is more than able to provide hazards on the roads. Every October and November our office phones ring off their hooks with calls from clients regarding accidents caused by wet leaves, high speeds and short stopping distances. Some accidents are unavoidable. However, there are things that we can all do to improve our chances of avoiding an accident this season.
- Make sure your tires are properly inflated
- Check the tread depth on all four tires of your vehicle
- Have your mechanic check your vehicle’s brake system
- Make sure windshield wipers are performing properly
Just doing these few things can help you avoid an accident this fall. Of course you should always give other drivers a little more room when it is wet or slick on the roads. We wish you all a happy and safe fall season and remember if there is anything we can do for you, please feel free to call our office anytime.
